I've ordered 9 lbs. of coffee from BBCR over multiple occasions. They provide roasted-to-order beans at one of the best prices amongst Canadian roasters. The roast of the beans are consistent across orders, and they have reasonable shipping costs in Canada.

Their product selection is fixed for the most part. They don't many seasonal coffees or unique processing coffees, unlike other roasters, so they fall short in coffee exploration.

The single origin Ethiopian is my favourite coffee carried by BBCR. I've ordered it on multiple occasions and the roasting is consistent. It does smell like tea, as described, and seems like a medium roast.

The Brazilian beans are great for espresso, including milk-based drinks. Local shipping is also fast...I just wish that the free local shipping threshold aligned better with the pricing of the bags of beans.

BBCR has excellent coffees for all tastes. I was surprised by the Tanzania Peaberry's delicious beast with beautiful notes of toasted caramel with a blossoming fruity finish.

For those wanting a new experience, it's worth a try.

Thought I’d try this coffee and was pleasantly surprised! Great flavour. I drink it hot or cold! Hope BBCR continues to sell it.

A Nicaraguan colleague recommended I try Nicaraguan coffee and this did NOT disappoint. I was intrigued how all of the notes could be strawberry, but they really are! Next time I'll go with a slightly coarser grind, but I love it & recommend you try it.
