International Women's Day is Wednesday, March 8th. A day to celebrate women's achievement. A day to raise awareness about discrimination. A day to take action to drive gender parity.
In honour of International Women’s Day 2023 (#IWD2023), we are pleased to offer 20% off our Colombia single origin women’s coffee.
These beans are sourced from the cooperative of Mujeres Cafeteras de Santander, which is comprised of a group of 200 women from 8 municipalities in Santander (Ocamonte, Valle de San Jose, Coromoro, Encino, Charalá, Curití, Confines y Socorro). The women's coffee cooperative focuses on female economic empowerment through coffee production to increase the livelihoods and opportunities of participating families and the community at large.
From pickers and producers to baristas and roasters, the role of women in the coffee industry is truly indispensable. We are pleased to promote this female-produced coffee and we hope to not only increase public awareness around gender inequality, but to also inspire women in various roles within the coffee community.
