Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and this is our take on a traditional Ethiopian medium roast coffee. With a stunning bouquet of citrus flowers, it has an incredibly round body with wonderful caramel notes that finish with a dry mouthfeel that leaves you wanting more.
The reason coffee favors these citrus and florals is mainly due to the terroir and dry climate. The cherries ripen faster due to the higher temperatures, which promotes a nice acidity in the cup (not to be confused with bitterness).
This particular roast is very well suited for manual and automated drip as well as immersion brewing (French press, AeroPress).
Our single origin from Ethiopia is medium roasted at 19 on the Roast Scale and 76 on the Agtron Gourmet Scale established by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
