 Discover the experience of barrel aged coffee!

BBCR is proud to present our brand new limited edition barrel-aged coffee! For this release we aged a blend of beans originating from Africa and surrounding regions in a freshly emptied Canadian whiskey barrel for over a month. Carefully monitored, hand turned daily and tested on a regular basis, our goal was to gain maximum infusion without the coffee being overpowered by the barrel.

The best way to prepare this coffee is by using an immersion brewing method (French Press or Aeropress) or filter brewing (pour over, drip). Barrel aged beans are less suitable for high-pressure techniques such as espresso.

This release features the artwork of Steve Coffin. Steve is a talented artist residing in Alymer (Gatineau), Quebec, and he can often be found with a sketchbook at Café Mulligan. He not only paints, he also has published a series of comic books and graphic novels. Steve regularly live paints and exhibits his art at various local establishments in the Aylmer Quebec region.
